My camp memories!
In term 1 the year eights went to Totara Springs Cristian Camp. I made lots of new friends and made better friends too. I loved it in the pool! My favourite activity was bridge jump. The activities their included abseiling, rock climbing and archery, flying fox, blast, bridge jump, raft making, dampers, kayaking and the water slide. :) Overall i had an amazing experience even though it was cold and raining!

My personal response to a witness account of the earthquake in Christchurch. (Simon and Richard)
I think it would be extremely horrific to be in an earthquake.I now know more about what i should do in an earthquake. I would like more people to donate to Christchurch to help them get through. Having people come to our class really opens up my eyes about how serious earthquakes are. I am so lucky to have all my friends and family safe.
LI: to write a persuasive exposition.

Right now we are in the middle of making a music video. Here is my plan for it. LI:Able to write using hyperbole and poetic features. Hyperbole: Exaggeration.
